In old days, 知识分子 have some problems since 1) they studied too many
books in arts, 2) they thought too much; 3) they expressed their feeling too
much, 4) they are sometime rebels
For our Engineering and Science (also Medical), we are not necessarily 知识分子 since we studied
Engineering and Science instead of history, liberal arts, etc.
In conclusions,
1) people in Engineering and Science (also Medical) are not necessarily 知识分子.
2) 知识分子 do have some problems (see毛泽东, and others) | o******r
