tested barbell flat bench press as well, 175lbs. still 10lbs short of 165's

EXERCISE 辅助训练。。。
看来还是要差不多自己学得 90% TRANINER, 找到适合自己LIFESTYLE 和体质的方法。 |

measured my squat number, 245LBS. 165 wegiht class intermediate level is
250lbs.
feel like can still squeeze up 10 lbs more... last time inside a squat rack (4-5 month ago) , 1rm is only 185lbs. considering i am not doing weighted squat regularly at all... i am content with 245 already.
advanced level, both DL and SQ have to grow another 100LBS on top of intermediate level... 估计没指望了

here is GSP's coach simple routine, easy to remember and quite comprehensive:
each workout consists of
1)push
2)pull
3)hip and knee dominant moves
4)rotate
两种方式做:
a)slow moving 3-5RM
b)explosive
for instance, for "push"
do bench press 3-5RM, then do shadow boxing jab punch

bag of weights (stones)
learn various exercise for each type, then combine however one like:
PUSH --- bench press, push up(mostly i do one arm version), handstand push (
against wall), military press, dip, boxing jab and cross. except bench press
, all others can be done at home
PULL ---- inverted row, pull up, chin up, snatch has some pull motion,
deadlift have some pull motion too
hip/knee --- squat (single le |

v*****r 发帖数: 2325 | 14 for guys who dare to DL big and have some strength foundation. DL 2BW is not
all that hard. after all DL is done by strongest joint of human body, you
run and jump, all related. so easy to stay the strength.
the experience to crack some relative big number in one exercise will help
to crack big number in another.
maybe i will keep this post going, since i have yet to reach EXRX
intermedieate level at other exercises.
next is to crack 90+90 or 100+100 in dumbell bench press.

倒是推上去了。但是下来就再也起不来了。地推还是有帮助哑铃卧推进步,开始慢慢地
破平台了。看旁边一位上斜哑铃卧推110+110,用腿踢上,系腰带,背严重起桥。另一
位看我做单手地推,好奇地问我是否带伤恢复训练,或在练kickboxing,我就给他解释

3 sets of 5 reps (5 sets of 2 reps)
push (1 arm push up) interleave with pull (bent over row)
core stability (kb bottom up carry, tgu)
compound (double kb/db swing)
hip and knee (1 leg dead lift interleave with 1 leg squat , suitcase deadlift)
cool down with with stretch
3 times a week, 4th week use 50% intensity
