发帖数: 17163 | 8 Back home, got my ck payment of around 800 something bucks, of which 500 is
for this past 4 days work and the remaining as partial advance payment for
next week. Looks like my boss have messed up my name by a bit, but I still
go ahead and deposited it to an atm on my way home. Hopefully it don't
bounce. If it goes thru, I should be able to start betting on Friday.
Aside from that, also borrowed 1000 bucks from my boss, so that I can give
to my parent for Chinese New Year. And I agree to deduct 100 bucks every wk
over the course of 11 wks, in essence paying an APR of over 20 pct. anyway,
that means I'll have only 400 bucks per week goin forward for the next
11 wks, further puttin pressure on my budget. I ain't suppose to say
nothing unpleasant around Chinese New Year. But I can't help but whisper
