发帖数: 144 | 1 I have Win98 and Win2000,under Win 98, the CD-ROM works fine,
but under Win2000, I can't find the CD-ROM. When I check the
"device manager", it shows that "Your registry might be
corrupted (code 19)".
The reason is that I update my media player to 7.0! The reason
behind this issue is that one of Adaptec's registry entries gets
damaged on the install of Media Player 7.
Please check this article if you have CD-RW and Win2000 and want
to upgrade your WMP to 7.0!

发帖数: 19 | 2 Weird! My system works fine with both wmp7.0 and sony
extreme.
But note:
The cd version that comes with your drive when you bought it
will NOT work under win2k. You must download the upgrade
version for win2k from sony. Also this upgraded CD extreme
supports 700MB CD while the original version does not. |
