找个7.0以上地版本.
我已经再我地ibm上搞过了.
toshiba地我也玩过.
dell地也玩过. | D****g 发帖数: 2860 | 2 I don't understand why people use junkie softwares like pqmagic even if
they don't have data to keep. repartitioning and reinstalling a windows xp
costs less then hald an hour.
I also don't understand why poeple play with it if they have important data
on the hard disk. If I were in their shoes, I would denifitely backup
the data and repartition anyway. | r**a 发帖数: 630 | 3 General speaking PQMagic is very reliable. Of course u need at least version 7.0
for it to work on winxp.
Backuping data usually takes lots of time and few ppl would be patient enough
to backup data, partition , format and restore data if they only want to make
minor modifications to existing partitions.

| h**j 发帖数: 27 | 4 Use Pqmagic 8.0 for xp!!!! Defragmentation first! Notice that some content of
XP in C: are not movable, so be sure your new C: cover that part (use XP
defrag tools, you can see the unmovable part)
Pqmagic is a good and solid tool. people inproperly using it say it's a junk
an HOUR for install XP is a dream, 2 hour at least. XP not always figure out
all hardwares.

some up-to-date hardware drivers and all the software applications
as well. Usually, it may even take more time to re-install all the
software applications.
Half an hour to re-install a windows-xp un-attendedly is possible.
Windows XP does support un-attended install. But the problem is,
most of the users don't know how to do so. And they will still
need to re-install some of the hardware drivers and all the software
applications.
Fo | D****g 发帖数: 2860 | 6 hehe, PQ magic screwed up my partition table once, long ago. I swore never ever
to use it again :). Installing OS and software is a easy job, I just water
on bbs on my laptop and let the machine do the job, clicing mouse now and then.
I burned all drivers and commonly used softwares on one CDROM, that makes things
a lot easier :).

For me all drivers and commonly used softwares will occupy at least 10 CDROMs,
thus I personally think of repartitioning and reinstalling all the softwares
a stupid idea given that PQMagic is stable.
