the correct method is deleting this key from registry:

This is a xp bug . you should be able to find it at microsoft(possible the fix)
the problem is that big file (100M) is associated to media players(wm?or realplayer?)P
when you click thefile.xp tried touse themediaplayers to open it . thatis
why yougot the msg.
I forgot how to workaround it.you should beable find it out at microsoft
or google it.
You definitely do not need to reinstall(btw, it might be in one of patch of xp)
