Dear All,
You may have already heard about the tragedy of Lei Liu's wife, Xiaolin Shi.
Lei Liu is a graduate student in the Biostatistics department, and Xiaolin
came to the States to join him in July, 2002. The couple had a terrible car
accident on 10/27/02. Xiaolin fighted bravely with the injuries and complica
tions until her parents came to her bedside. Xiaolin passed away on 11/09/02
in the Trauma Burn center of University Hospital.
