valid status is different from visa stamp
You get your H1 I-94 after your company applied H1 for you from INS. You can
stay legally in US with this I-94. But if you leave the country and back to
your homeland or other countries other than canada and mexico, your I-94 is
expired, and you have to apply a new visa and when you enter US, you get a
new valid I-94(while your visa may expire in 6 monthes or so).
If your visa is stamped with current status, you can mail you

or your visa stamp has not expired yet, or you didn't make the
unexpired visa invalid by changing the job....what the heck do
you apply the visa for? Save yourself some money, and don't bother
the officers in INS!!

CHANGE STATUS都可以去REVALIDATE,我是觉得好象不可以这样。

| s*l 发帖数: 12 | 5 You may have to get a new stamp anyway, because the new rule for revalidation
requires that your last visa was expired no more than one year.
