I have a colleague who used to work for one of the largest oil companies in
the world. He did good job there and was unhappy about not getting salary
raise. He talked to his supervisor a couple of times and didn't get what he
wanted. He then decided to do something.
One day, he intentionally left a copy of his resume in the printer. The next

You do not need to give a reason, it is perfectly ok to ask strightly. After
all, you worked hard for it.
