i would say something like:
1) first, for me, it's not just ONE memorable time, as i do this on a
routine basis.
2) for exmaple, i always try my best to remember someone's name at our first
meeting, if i don't know how to pronounce it, i'll ask them to correct me a
few times. like i have a customer called Zhang San from YYY company. Zhang
is a popular chinese name but hard to pronounce. well, i could have taken
the easy route and

thank you very much for your kind suggestions. Actually, this is a R&D
position and HR gave me some interview questions for preparation. This one
is a little bit confusing for me. I have never experience on salesman or
customer service.

i never take anything for granted and always listen to my customers carefully
first. respect is step 1 in any relationship. for us, it's also a discovery
process, i ask them questions and help them to draw the picture of what they
need. like in XXX project, client A was not satisfied with their existing
software vendor but he couldn't tell what's wrong either. so it took us some
time to sit down with him, exploring what he liked and dislike

a customer says he wants product A. but by communication and trying to
understand his situation and requirements, you recommened product B for him,
which proves to be a better fit for his requirement and saves cost or "
total cost of ownership" (google it if you are not familiar with this
concept). | s**********j 发帖数: 329 | 7 嗯? 好像类似的例子已经被“油炸大王”说过了吗,呵呵 |
