then 120% to 150% of this x number:
1) most likely they'll pay you by 1099 (make sure you're not H1B, otherwise
you can't get paid by 1099). you submit invoices (normally monthly) to them,
they pay you a lump sum by check. you handle your own taxes;
2) 20%+ of x is minimum since you need to pay extra ~7% of self employed tax
, handle the extra tax paperwork, keep "look-good" relationship with ex "
wife", and the whole

also, when submitting invoices, don't be shy about a few "extra" hours, hehe.
make as much as possible while you still can in this bad economy.

laied off employee as contractor within certain amount of time. This could
become evidence the employee using against his employer if he decides to sue
company for firing him for unlawful reason.

1099 can be a very sweet deal, my friend worked for a gov. contract
for a couple of years, charged $120/hr on 1099, the project was
required to finish ASAP, so he could charge almost as many hours
as possible, 60+ hrs/week (of course, a lot of "water" in it)...
for those years, he took home high $300K cash every year.
if you can find long term good clients, go for it.

情况吧? 是否用 2050 - 10*8 -15*8 - 5*8 = 1810 更符合实际情况一些?

2080 is pretty standard, some use 2000 for simplicity.

你这么想，一般咨询公司收客户的钱里面，粗略的说，三分之一是发给你的工资，三分
之一是你的各种福利(保险、奖金、节假日、社会安全税等等)及公司的日常开支，三分
之一是毛利润。公司一般在你的费用的基础上再加一点报给客户或者自己消化。
你如果加班干活，可以挣你目前新的工资的1.5倍或者两倍吧，这个是你的机会成本。
不要想闲着也是闲着，你的时间就是金钱。
公司要你接着干活，应该是一时需要你，不是想从你的时间里赚钱，所以它不亏就可以
，你就不要客气了。找到人接手了你这个事情就没了。当然如果两方面都希望长期合作
的话，就给个稍低的价格。
最后还是看你多想挣这个钱了，最好是问一下公司的熟人心里有个数。
