发帖数: 934 | 1 上个公司的h1b今天就过期了，新公司的lca已经批了，h1b也已经寄出，并且今天
deliver了。
那我现在算valid了吗？对于transfer, 是要拿到h1b petition receipt才算valid还是
package deliver了就算valid了？
上家公司估计会在h1b过期2周之内revoke，具体不知道哪天，有可能在刚过期的今天，
也有可能在2周之后。paycheck是一直有的，paycheck的last day也是今天。
请教大家，这种情况should be fine吗？有没有什么需要注意的？谢谢～～ |

Btw, just curious, why does everyone say in such transfer cases, one is safe
once the receipt is delivered? Why wouldn't one wait till it is approved? (
for it could be declined theoretically) If I am still on my old job, wouldn'
t I bear any risk if I leave for the new employer right away after getting

start to work for the new employer. i dont know why, and I dont think we
need to know why. it is just what it is. you could find some articles in the

for the new employer after the receipt, but it didn't mention the
possibility of your H1B transfer's being declined. While it could be
declined in reality, although the chance is little. In that case once you
can no longer working for the new employer and if you cannot go back to your
old employer, you could lose your status. that's my major concern.
