的问题. 还有就是怕领了影响绿卡批准. 最近才问明白律师说副申请人没关系. 今天就
申请了, 前面四个月没拿可惜了.
请问有谁知道失业金可以拿几个月? 有一份鸡肋的工作, long distance 后剩不了几个
钱, 和失业金差不多, 所以这可能引向我们对这份鸡肋工作的决定. 他在 layoff 他的
公司工作超过 5 年了. |

发帖数: 139 | 2 没有绿卡，好像不能领失业金吧？不过各个州规定不太一样，也许你那儿不一样。如果
不能领，就算现在拿了，以后还得图回去。虽然本来就是外财，一下拿出一大笔有挺别
扭的不是。
领多长时间，也不太一样，貌似一般是半年左右。有点州是一笔固定的数额，领完算完。
建议去unemployment service center问清楚。 |

found that they made a mistake, they will send you a letter asking you pay
back what you got -- if you don't, they will simply get that from your state
tax returns I guess.
Not exactly sure how it was handled, but I do know a guy who had to pay back
~$8000. I don't think he needed to pay anything extra. So it was in some
sense good for him as he got a interest-free loan for about a year.

发帖数: 837 | 9 I'm EB2, he is EB3, and my priority date is less than 1 year away from
current priority date. I'm not sure if we would even have patience to wait
on his EB3 if my GC for some reason didn't go through. Like lots of other
couples here, we have been waiting for my EB2 FOREVER.
You had good point to raise though.
