law in March 2010) expends medicaid access to adult without children with
INCOME up to 133% proverty level. So byebye asset test, only need to pass
the income test.
so if someone has a million dollar house and get monthly living expense,
from a "rich" child or from a secrate bank account in China, can qualify for
Medicaid?
Also the act also encourage employer to provide medicare insurance for
people retired early (55-64). - is the goverment encourage early retirment?
or that is just a way to let layoff worker stay within the group insurance
to reduce the burden of the goverment |
