current situation:
location: midwest
salary:>70k
2.5 years working experience
(my own office)
last Wed, offer arrived
location: downtown Boston
salary: <70k
<20 people startup
(share a room with other 3 employees, no cubicle)
last Sunday, negotiation with HR
told them my expected range 75k to 85k
past Tuesday, 1st revised package
salary up 5k (still out of my expected range)
past Thursday, called in to reject
the boss tried to persuade me to join, said will come back with a
satisfactory offer next Tuesday.
today/Friday, HR emailed:
"would like to invite you to suggest an arrangement that you feel is fair
and would be comfortable accepting".
I made up my mind not going (I heard story who paid higher than peer got
laid off first), but can anyone give suggestion on how to handle and reject without hurting the relation?
I personally think I am handling the whole thing properly, and they seem act
different from what other HRs normally do (especially up to this stage they still don't plan to ask my current salary). Any thoughts?

really above 80k.

is 85K, so that to avoid so much hussles

company B gives me 75000(actually B gives me 65000), then HR in A offered me
80000, i immediately accepted it, LOL. |

they didn't ask me for my expected range before the 1st offer.
the 1st offer is below 70k. will you tell them your expected salary is >85k
in this case?

screen their candidates. Don't you think so?

似乎他们都不愁招不到人
至于和经济是否好转 并没有直接关系
