date around August 2008. The current job is stable, but I don't think I will
have a good career development in the company. After working here for 3.5
years, I still have not got any chance to lead a project while my peers are
already project leaders. Technically I am not very top, above average;
people-skill-wise, I am just average.
Should I stay waiting for green card (I really doubt if I will get it in 2
years), or should I leave and find another opportunity in the industry (oil
& gas)?
Any comment/advice is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot! | g***s

发帖数: 3 | 3 Thanks for the reply. Yes, my I-40 has been approved.
My only concern is, will I have any trouble with my H1B extension after the
6th year? Based on my research, lots of oil companies won't start gc
application till 2 years of employment. This is my 4th year of H1B. Not sure
if I'll have enough time...
