Staff Software Engineer ~= Cisco 11 ~= IBM band 8
Senior SSE ~= Cisco 12 ~= IBM band 9 |

Cisco level 10 is Senior Engineer. Level 11 is one level up. In Brocade,
Juniper, the one level up is called Staff Engineer.
Cisco Level 12 is one level up from 11. In Brocade, Juniper, the one level
up from Staff Engineer is called Senior Staff Engineer. Most of the time,
their "managers" holds Director title.
In real world there are not too many level 12 or Senior Staff positions.

发帖数: 2260 | 11 Title的问题其实是浮云。关键是看工资。
就你提到的J公司，本科生进去和博士生都有同一个级别的(SE-2)。也有Master进去就
是SE-3的。也有博士进去是SE-4的。很多博士进去的工资还没有fresh master的高。
当然了因为这个原因，走的人也很多。
关键是HM怎么给你定级别和工资了。
这个世界是没有什么规则和框框的。
