I was previously work as a full-time permanent at company H. I applied to
the company C. The job description that C posted does NOT mention it is a
contract, but it mentioned it is full-time.
I thought the position is permanent until the 2nd day at C where I pick up
my employment letter [of course, at that time I already resigned my
permanent position], which shows the position is of contract form.
I am not sure if it is really my responsibility to ask during the interview
about the position type [I admit that I am kinda inexperience such that I
got into this trap]. But through the interview and from job description,
there is no single word "Contract" pop up.
Does the company have any responsibilities for this? Can I use any
legitimate ways to protect myself?

1) If it were Contract, the Title should have e.g. XXX Analyst (Contract XXX
to XXX) or XXX Analyst (Contract with potential renewal). The job title
posted does NOT have "Contract".
2) Job Description says: "A full-time position is available to start as soon
as possible". Again NO "Contract" such word showing anywhere.
Even if the company does not have fault, but what is the point doing that?
It is lose-lose situation for both party. This makes me leaving soon and
makes the company has to hire again...

如果有福利，也就没啥区别了。俺N个工作都是at will。 |

hourly rates are higher.
if you don't like being a contract employee , you can talk to your hr to see
if there is a solution.

permanent positions got laid off before those in contract positions.
