刚刚看到一个帖子：

据说能通过SSN查到以前的工资？之前我为了申请OPT延期，在朋友的公司里挂靠了几个
月，这段经历也写在简历上了。现在好不容易拿到一个offer，会不会因为通过SSN查到
那几个月我根本没有领到薪水而泡汤？当时实在是没有办法，唉，如果真的通过SSN什
么都能查到的话，接下来的工作机会即使拿到offer也基本都通不过背景调查阿。 |

W2, 1099-MISC and self-employment income, but they don't know your non-
earned income (such as profit from stock market). |

/paystub呢？
做reference check似乎也没必要了，因为通过SSN都可以查出来你的employment
history?
一切的一切只要SSN就行？

most simple credit check and arrest history, which tells little about your
pay. For important hire like searching for CEO, they may hire special firm
to investigate you, and FICA contribution, your house value, driving history
, expunged arrest record, all can be found at a price. |
