In addition, if asked to sign during employment, usually compensation for
loss in extra income, etc. is needed; however, if asked to sign before
employment, the employment itself can be deemed as such compensation already.
Anyway, people like you and me are not important enough to cause any issue,

also if they have a CA office, they can put you there for a while (you can
WFH as well)
