我有个比较麻烦的问题请教下大家。
小弟去年EE PHD毕业，现在用OPT EXTENTION工作。
公司今年帮忙申请了职位是ELECTRICAL ENGINEER的H1B，有幸被抽中，但是十月份开始
要求RFE，提供材料；大意是职位描述不是entry-level，然后我的职位electrical
engineer是偏entry-level，需要提供证明材料。
但是今天递交RFE support letter的时候居然发生了一件狗血的事情，我发现原来律师
帮忙递交的职位居然是MECHANICAL ENGINEER, 但职位描述是EE的活儿。显然是TYPO，
追问下是公司HR年初提供给律师信息的时候就搞错了（提交申请的时候并没有和我确认
，估计一般公司在递交申请的时候一般也不会问员工）。
律师的意见是让我提供上学期间和MECHANICAL ENGINEERING相关课程的材料，这个我勉
强能提供一些，毕竟PHD做东西涉及面多。但我不知道能不能糊弄过去，而且关键的问
题是我以后如果换工作，H1B TRANSFER是不是肯定会被拒（因为以后职位肯定是
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING相关，而现在变成了MECHANICAL ENGINEER）？
我的OPT明年八月份过期，理论上还有一次抽签机会。想问问大家，怎么样处理比较好
？是老老实实按照律师要求，提供材料，还是索性withdraw，明年再重新申请?
毕竟我不可能在现在公司做太久，换工作是肯定的.以下是律师准备的RFE support

以下是律师（公司）准备提供的RFE support letter
The following job duties are fundamental job tasks to be performed by a
Mechanical Engineer, an entry-level position, which requires no experience
to two (2) years of experience:
· Perform design verification and system level integration of analog and
digital electronic subsystems of electrical development projects;
· Conduct hardware design based on system level requirements, including
schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, and assembly
instructions;
· Build, test, debug, and optimize prototype of infusion pump;
· Maintain and optimize sensory circuitry and power management; and
· Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis.
Our business is a medical device company that develops and produces durable,
advanced technology infusion pumps used in oncology, specialty pharmacy,
long-term care, and home infusion. Any candidate qualifying for entry-level
positions related to our product engineering and development must be
familiar with the basic engineering skills and knowledge. Therefore, “
perform design verification and system level integration”, “conduct
hardware design base don system level requirements”, “build, test debug,
and optimize prototype”, “maintain and optimize sensory circuitry and
power management”, and “perform troubleshooting and failure analysis” are
fundamental routine job functions that require limited exercise of judgment
for a Mechanical Engineer. In the performance of such job functions, the
candidate exercises limited, if any, professional judgment. The above job
duties are performed under close supervision.
