U.S. stock markets rallied today as investors fixated on news that Citigroup
had posted profits in the first two months of the year and a report that
restrictions on short sellers might be imposed soon.
Citigroup and Bank of America, large bank stocks that are components of the
blue chip Dow, were up 35.1 percent and 25.1 percent, respectively, by 2 p.m
