要的SIZE的车没了，COMPLAIN了一下，租车公司就给了一辆卡迪拉克开，一天开10个小时
真的不累。比去大瀑布开VAN舒服多了。 |

drave alone from LA to San jose round trip with my used car 2 months ago.
about 6 hours one way.
i just wanted to have such experience and see if i can do it all by myself.
and i made it.
but i won't do it again coz i-5 is tooooooooo boring.
or maybe after i get a big nice new car. :)

发帖数: 825 | 3 上个月，从boston去DC,开一个小破车，去7个小时，回来10个小时，感觉也不错。
你难道一个人在车里？我是和老婆朋友一起，不觉得boring。

but since it is the first time i drave so far. kind of excited,
only in i-5, i felt bored. the road is damn straight and endless.
took me almost 3 hours to get out of there.

发帖数: 825 | 5 去黄石的路上，有的路真的是笔直的看不到边阿，旁边都是半人高的草地。有的时候开一
个小时，前后左右都没车。我最快开到了117迈，不过被抓了。现在想比较有趣。不过当
时吓死了。还好罚的不多。

second is because i don't want to.
the highest speed at which i drave in I-5 is 90, still many car passed by
guess their speed must reach 100 mile.
interesting thing is in this kind of long distance driving, drivers tend to
drive in group. i became the lead car in a group even at speed of 80,85.
guess the following drivers are just too lazy to pass me by.:)

发帖数: 825 | 7 旁边没车的时候，开到100真的没感觉，那个警车是从对面的lane上，穿过高速中间宽阔
的草地（也亏他能开的过来），来抓我的。
我觉得最危险的是去DC的时候，车很多，不过大家都是保持在75-85m之间开，当时很多车
之间的距离很短，我估计了一下，只有大概1秒的距离。当时如果有什么问题的话，几十
辆车都完了。

i-5 is one of the easiest to drive hwy/

不喜欢152，要比较用心开，山路太多。
偶8月跑了一趟，上周末又跑了一趟，GG说偶跑上瘾了。。哈哈
偶从LA开SJ每次都才用不到5小时。第一次过了33的分岔后就开始觉得累了。。第2次就什
么感觉都没啦。。。呵呵，I-5上飙车很爽的。

there is a lake along the hwy, and it is less difficult than i expected
with turns, up and down hill, at least not boring,
besides, you only need to spend about 1 hour there.
i5 is just too long, with desert and abandoned grassland everywhere.

actually in 152 traffic is much slower than in i5 and the road condition is a
bit more complicated. so most of time, you will concentrate more on your
driving.
when you have fewer oporturnity to "play" with other driver.
your risk of collison will be reduced.

我
时
several days in the trip around 2600 miles. I stopped at Grand Canyon,
Petrified park,and some other not so famous views. That was a lot of fun
there.
The most suprised thing on the trip was one cop stopped me at Texas while the
speed limit is 70 and My speed was 72 at most. The officer saw my drive
license and did not wait I find the car insurance then let me leave with some
oral warning. Hehe
I feel that every state police have unique uniform, not matter county police
or shell. It should
