点好奇，就查了一下：
frugal ['fru:gəl] adj. 节俭的
因为转悠到craigslist，看到一些个论坛，然后就看到 frugal living,点进去看到这
么一个帖子：

Not the usual silliness on here but I got a little laugh out of this.
Nearly 15 years ago a friend got married and had way too much "everything"
at the reception. I went home with piles of paper plates, plasticware,
plastic cups (nice looking, very clear plastic, on first glance can fool you

发帖数: 2517 | 3 我感觉frugal和cheap还是有点区别的，只是感觉，不一定对：
frugal=不浪费，cheap=过分节约？
再转一个：

if someone leaves a tip at their table and you take a buck and leave it on
your table. its both going to the same waiter. and since tipping is optional
the waiter wouldnt even know the difference
