BEIJING, Sept 8 (AFP) - China will merge four of its universities into one next week to try
to raise educational standards towards the world's best, the China Daily reported Tuesday.
"We plan to build Zhejiang University into a top university in Asia by 2005 and one of the
world's best by 2015," new president Pan Yunhe told the newspaper.
