The most difficult part of my university life was to adapt
to being a
student of liberal arts, instead of being a student of
science or technology.
I used to read a book named "Two kinds of Culture" which
discusses the gap between these two kinds of scholars.
Quite insightful and interesting. I think the main problem
of the foreign language department of ZHEDA is because
it recruits those students who attend the entrance exam in
science and may actually be interested in the fields of
science and
