It was in 1926 that R.M. Gattefosse, a French chemist intrigued
by the many healing properties of essential oils or aromatic
essences, used the term "Aromatherapy" to denote a traditional
art of healing dating back more than 5,000 years.
Also used for skin care for thousands of years, Aromotherapy is
a science with a particular wealth of promis for cosmetologists.
