一直都对香熏比较感兴趣,于是买了香熏的东东和精油 Orange Essential Oils,
原是看上ROSE的了,只可惜没有了:(.回家后迫不及待的都拿出来,added a few
drops to the oil burner and lighted the candle in the base. enjoying...
可过了一两个小时等香味都散发了,我跑去闻了一下,怎么那油就跟菜油一个
味?!
偶是不是哪里做错拉,还是买来的油是假的?还是就是这个样子的啊?不是说精
油应该都蒸发掉才对吗?

发帖数: 25 | 3 Most oils carried at Bath, Body & Works are blends, i.e. not single note pure
essential oils, as far as I remember. Like this orange essential oils, did you
read the ingredients? I remember this one is a blend with other oils. My
concern with blends is that not every single ingredient is 100% pure. Also,
size of the bottle also tells sth. If it is over 1 oz and priced less than
$20, then it is unlikely to be 100% pure. At least for stores like BB&W, a
rather low-end and unspecialized stores for

明知道这不是精油,还介绍偶买另一个BASE OIL呀,说是这样混着可以久一点,

either 100% pure or blends. There are some guidelines for mixing 100% pure
essential oils with base oils. More dilution is needed if applied to larger
body area.
So if she was talking about mixing with base oils for skin care needs, then
she had some point though the oil she sold might not be the top quality. But
if she meant by mixing and using for the burner, then she made no sense, at

而base oil(carrier oil)的稳定性比较好，
所以才用来做carry essential oil
的载体。
依你的情况，
剩下的应该是不以挥发的底油，葡萄籽油或者荷荷葩油之类的。

我个人的经验， 通常剩下的还是清水，
但是水倒掉之后也要清洗burner，否则槽内会有一圈淡黄色的油渍..
还有为了防止吹灭蜡烛是那股子的蜡油子味，我通常都会把整个burner
那到外面去吹掉，可是觉得还蛮危险的。大家都是怎么弄得？
