they gave me an offer I could not say no.
Dealers are desperate now, so if you are in the market, you can definitely
make good deals.
It's my first diesel, so far so good. Mixed around town and highway, I am
getting ~24MPG. I have seen people getting close to 30MPG on highway. Now
diesel price is lower than gas, you can't beat it. The only down side I
noticed so far is the slight hesitation when starting from a complete |

Yes. There is a $900 tax credit for this model for tax year 2009 (R and GL
get even more). It means I will simply take another $900 off my income tax
bill. This is on top of the other tax saving for car buying tax and
registration fee. So I am looking at a total tax related saving of about $
1500 or so off the price paid.

MB当初想在美国推广柴油机，弄了3台市售E320，没有任何改装，到德州跑圈
连续30天，每部车里程都超过了10万英里，无故障
你算算，不算必要的维护和加油什么的，满打满算是30天，720小时，平均时速也130多
mph了
基本上就是除了加油换油，就是一直连续不断跑极速整一个月
你还没说，换DFBB就未必行哦……

benz 8x，9x年代w123/4平台那是正的overenginered，车整体都很好
不过benz的diesel发动机一直还是很赞的！

Warranty will start on day of purchase, so no worry on that part. The $900
credit and registration tax incentive are all federal, so you will get it no
matter where you are. The $900 is for alternative fuel credit (only apply
to diesels) , and you simply pay $900 less in your tax. The registration tax
/fee incentive is to take the amount of tax/registration fee you paid and
deduct from your total taxable income. For example, if you paid 6% tax on a
40K car, and $250 for registration, you deduct

Mercedes recommend to change oil every 10K miles. For the first few years, I
figure the cost can be 200~500 bucks. If you DIY, the cost is even lower.

发动机torque再大,真正起作用的还是轮上扭力
柴油机因为转速范围低,终传比不得不设的小一些,换句话说在final axle这里
扭矩放大的不如汽油机多
我在版上以前贴过对335i/d的轮上扭矩的计算
结果还是后者高,虽然前者发动机扭矩高
