招唤邪恶的戒指
美国电影“魔戒”（The Lord of the Rings），是今年奥斯卡奖项提名最多的
电影。该电影改编自英国牛津大学的教授托尔金（J.R.R.Tolkien，基督徒文学家
C.S.Lewis的好友）之同名小说。
小说中的魔戒，是魔王索隆（Sauron）倾全力造出来的戒指。索隆可以通过它
以邪恶统治世界。而这枚能使人隐形、长寿，获得超然能力的戒指，彷佛也有某种
自我意见，它会伺机而动，被邪恶召唤，也召唤邪恶。
因此，当魔王在战争中遗失了戒指之后，每一个无意间拥有它的人，都会遭逢
心灵的强烈试探。他们知道它的危险，却无法割舍这个危险，戒指成为一种诱惑，
并因为每个人有不同的软弱之处，呈现著不同的诱惑。最后，不能战胜这诱惑的人，
会被索隆彻底控制。
因此，当魔戒落入善良的矮人族，即哈比族（Hobbit）的族人手中时，就成立
了销毁魔戒的魔戒使命团。九位成员在赴使命的过程中，一方面得坚毅不拔地完成

发帖数: 372 | 4 还是看原版英文的好。中文盗版的已经给改动得面目全非了。
年初的时候看了一集PBS介绍C.S.Lewis的纪录片，提到了J.R.R.Tolkien
和他的友谊。他们互相激励，写出了不少像“The Lord of the Rings”精彩之作。
寓言深刻而不失生动惊险，童稚单纯并富于理性。

i haev seen a movie about C.S Lewis: "the shadowlands" (or similar name). i
wonder if it is a real thing or just a movie interpreted by unbelievers. i am
confused about something C.S Lewis did. I wish i haev seen the documentary
film you mentioned, in order to solve my doubt and know the real C.S Lewis.
anyway, i like his fairy tales and his thoughts. but i have to admit that
his "Screwtape letter" (or similar name) is too profound for me to
