Overview
Aconcagua, 6956 meters high, is the highest mountain of the Americas
and the highest mountain outside of Asia. The "normal route" leads to
the summit of Aconcagua without the need for technical climbing.
However, due to possibly very low temperatures (below -30 C),heavy
(snow) storms and especially due to high altitude, it can be very
