Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile by air and road. In Mendoza you'll
have to get the climbing permit, but Mendoza is also the place to relax
for a while and to visit bodegas and open air restaurants. Very good
wine. Plenty of good restaurants.
For typical Argentinian food:
La Parillada 14 (garden restaurant), Avnd. San Lorenzo, near Plaza Espana.
