this combo deal advertised in Staples B&M or online, so I'll just explain
what I did...
I went in to buy the Logitech Wireless Keyboard K340, which is $49.99:
http://www.staples.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-K340/product_
and comes with a $20 mail-in-rebate. I wanted to match it with the
Logitech Wireless Mouse M505, that is $39.99:
http://www.staples.com/Logitech-Wireless-Mouse-M505-(Black)/pro
with a $20 mail-in-rebate.
Expected Subtotal = $89.98. Subtract the mail-in-rebates of $40. Eventual
cost = $49.98.
Add in the 15% off coupon, and a $25-off-$75 purchase (YMMV to use both) and
you'll get it for under $20 bucks.
Now, here's the unexpected kicker...
At the register, when the keyboard and the mouse rang up, it registered a
combo deal, which knocked the price of the $39.99 mouse down to $9.99. I
don't know why it did this, but it was rather surprising and forced me to
pick up some random fillers within arm range (two 2GB SD cards and some
lolly pops) to push me over the $75 total. I walked out of the store with a
bunch of items and a ~$44 bill. Once the mail-in-rebates come back, the
total will be around $6 bucks (including the price of the $25-off-$75 coupon
).
I'm not sure if this is an error or a promotion they haven't advertised yet.
So definitely YMMV. But maybe you'd like to try it?
