发帖数: 60932 | 1 Fox Searchlight's upcoming movie, CEDAR RAPIDS, starring Ed Helms and
John C Reilly, features a few U of MN alumni in the key roles of
screenwriter (Phil Johnston) and producer (Jim Burke), and in honor of
their hometown roots, both Phil and Jim are hosting a college
screening next week at St Anthony Main for U of M students!
The screening is Wednesday night at 7:30pm,
and tickets are FREE. There will be a Q&A with Phil and Jim
immediately following the screening, and you and interested group
members can download a pair of passes by going to Gofobo.com/rsvp and

SYNOPSIS
In Miguel Arteta's new comedy CEDAR RAPIDS, to call insurance agent
Tim Lippe (Ed Helms), "na飗e" is a gross understatement. He's never
left his small hometown. He's never stayed at a hotel. And he's never
experienced anything like Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sent to represent his
company at the annual
insurance convention, Tim is soon distracted by three convention
veterans (John C. Reilly, Anne Heche and Isiah Whitlock Jr.) who will
show him the ropes and push his boundaries. For a guy who plays
everything by the book, this convention will be anything but
conventional.
