Here's what I put together for this weekend's Staples sales. The reason I
made my own thread and deal is because everything I do can be done from a
distance, i.e., I don't even need to be in the country to do this deal. All
these things are available from Staples.com, with no need to go to a store.
So let's do this.
This will involve buying two Staples coupons from somewhere (I get them from
the Sder club, google "sder staples", follow the first link, they are real
coupons and his customer service really is good), and three Staples Easy
Rebates. I'll break this down in excruciating detail so everyone can follow,
in order:
1st, go to e b a t e s and click through the Staples link for 3% cashback.
Alternately for those who have a discover card that works as well (
shopdiscover).
Then add the following to the cart:
1 - Item: 894620 (Bluetooth WEB460 Headset)
1 - Item: 415489 (Avery Labels)
1 - Item: 647907 (Fellowes Laminator)
The Digital Video Camera will get added to your cart as a coupon when you
check out.
So then Add/Edit Coupons. Now is the time to enter the two coupons you have
acquired. One for 25/75 and one for the Digital Video Camera (alternately,
the Travel Set is also available, you would just need to purchase the
coupon code for that instead of the digital video camera). Either way, you
are now entering two coupons. It may not matter, but I enter the digital
video camera coupon first, then the $ off coupon (25/75).
Now checkout. It'll look like this (abbreviated):
Headset - 18.99
Avery - 9.99
Laminator - 109.99
Dig. VC 79.99
Subtotal: 218.96
Delivery FREE
Coupons:
Coupon1: -$4.00 (bluetooth headset)
Coupon2: -$10.00 (Laminator)
Coupon3: -$79.99 (Digital Video Camera, making it free)
Coupon4: -$25.00 (the 25/75 coupon)
Tax: $5.00
Total: $104.97
Rebates we will get back:
Bluetooth Headset - $10
Laminator - $70
Avery Labels - $10
= $90. 104.97 - 90 = 14.97
making it $14. - 3% Cashback from urlhasbeenblocked = $11...but we paid $2
.15 for the coupons (at least I did through SDer) so 13.15....but minus 1.25
% credit card cashback...off of 104.97...
11.85 in the end. I averaged it out to 12 for everyone for the title.
Screenshot below for proof. Lastly, to the mods - I know people are going
nuts posting about staples deals, but I explained in the beginning why I
did it this way. I also detailed the crap out of it for the newbies. It's
the method that I'm trying to demonstrate, getting as much as possible out
