Found this on clearance at my local Best Buy,
HP dv5-2045 (i3-350, 14.5" (720p) 4GB DDR3, 500 GB (7200rpm) Intel HD
integrated graphics.
The next lowest price I saw on Google was at Newegg ($569.99) It's an okay
deal in it of itself.
However it claims to come with Microsoft Office Home and Student version
which makes this a pretty good deal.
It doesn't show up on the Best Buy website, I got mine as a display model
but I'm told that there are several more new ones in the So Cal area.
The reason why it's YMMV is because I haven't verified that the new ones
come with the Office Activation code, the manager said it would have in a
new box, but sold me a retail version of the Product Key Card for $49.99
instead of of the $119.99 retail price.
If you get the full version of office in your new computer, kudos to you! If
not, then at least you can get a manager to discount $70 off the new
program.
