Bonus Miles
If you would like to join us in supporting the disaster relief efforts by
making a cash donation, American will reward your generosity with an
AAdvantage bonus mile offer. Through April 15, 2011, AAdvantage members can
earn a one-time award of 250 AAdvantage bonus miles for a minimum $50
donation, or 500 AAdvantage bonus miles for a donation of $100 or more to
the American Red Cross.
Some will TD this deal because you have to "pay" $50+ to get the miles, but
I look at it as a way to get free miles for a donation that I planned to
make anyway. If you are in that camp, then follow the link:

I know some people are anti-Red Cross, in which case, please donate through
your preferred organization. Also, don't forget to see if your employer will
match your donation!
