has this heart rate monitor for $19.99 plus $4.99 shipping.
The cheapest I was able to find it for at various other sites was $39. I
checked Ebay and someone had 4 in stock for $19.99 with Free Expedited
Shipping. This is also a great deal for those of you who may already have
Ebay bucks in your accounts due to either previous purchases, or that
Groupon promotion awhile back. This seller seems to only have the black one
in stock as opposed to 1saleaday, which only has the light blue/grey and
peach/pink colors in stock. Either place has these at good prices.
I don't own this (yet - just bought off Ebay seller), and I don't know much
about the company other than they seem to have good reviews for running
shoes on amazon. The only reviews I was able to find for the monitor were on

I know it's from China (what isn't? ) but it has a 5 year warranty, so it
should be pretty decent specially considering the price.
One of the reviewers also mentioned that she didn't need to where the watch
because the gym equipment she used had that "heart symbol" on it - since it
supposedly read the info from the strap. It didn't mention this particular
feature in the description, but if this is indeed the case, it's another
added bonus for those that don't want to wear it. Good luck.
