Onkyo TX-NR809 for $699 (posted here by PriapisX). But if you're like me and
live in California, Newegg charges tax, so this saves an extra $70.

Most other places have this for $899. MSRP is $1099. The model a step below
(the 709) is regularly $649, which is what I was originally looking at, but
it seems a no-brainer to step up to this model for another $50.
Be warned however as last year's 08 models all had a crippling defect which
required essentially a recall from what I understand. And there are
certainly people who feel that Onkyo quality and durability are lacking. My
personal experience with them has been great.
Here are the specs listed at Onkyo: Link:

But here are some highlights:
135W per Channel

HDMI 1.4a - Support for 3D Video and Audio Return Channel
High-Quality HQVVida VHD1900 Video Processor

ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) Video Calibration for Optimal
THXSelect2 Plus Certified
Direct Digital Connection of iPod/iPhone via Front-Panel USB Port
Audyssey MultEQXT Advanced Room-correction and Speaker Calibration

HDMI Pass Through Mode
I ordered mine over the weekend and it's supposed to be here later today!
