the main albertsons gift card thread a few days ago. Today is the last day
to get in on the deal. Here is the original thread:

For every $100 in gift cards purchased, a catalina prints for a $10
albertsons gift card. If you purchase a $500 visa gift card, you get 5 of
those coupons. There is a $6 fee per $500 card. Here is the sequence:
Transaction 1
Purchase $500 visa gift card for $506 after activation fee. Use cash or
other credit card for purchase. Receive 5 $10 catalinas and $500 gift card.
Transactions 2-19 (or more or less)
Purchase $500 visa gift card for $506. Use $500 gift card from previous
purchase so total OOP is $6 which I paid with cash to make it easier.
Recieve 5 $10 catalinas.
Last gift card transaction
Purchase $500 visa gift card for $506. Use $500 gift card from previous
purchase so total OOP is $6 which I paid with cash to make it easier.
Recieve 5 $10 catalinas. Walk away with $500 visa gift card to use on other
purchases.
Final transaction. Redeem the catalinas for albertsons gift card. I just
got back from doing $1000 worth of catalinas. I split them on to 2
different $500 cards.
It took me about 45 minutes to run through the process. If anyone got in
line behind me, I let them go through before continuing. This is at the
supervalu brand of Albertsons in the NW region and elsewhere. I did mine in
Oregon. It was $119 out of pocket for the activation fees for $1000 in
albertsons gift cards.
