using. (This is just for OUTGOING faxes only, if you need an incoming fax
service, this is not for you.) I'm an executor of an estate and I've had
need to fax legal documents to financial institutions. My hand-me-down
computer is missing essential .dll files to use its' fax capability with my
all-in-one printer (the fax capability is questionable anyways because I use
VOIP. I've read it's very hit-or-miss with VOIP), so after considering
buying a cheap fax machine w/supplies for limited use, using an expensive B&
M service to do the faxes for me, or signing up for an online fax service
that charges a monthly fee, I decided to go this route instead. Their free
service includes a free cover page w/no ads and you can fax up to 2 free
faxes per day (3 pages per fax maximum.) I've used the free service with
excellent results, my faxes have always gone through and you get email
confirmation from the site for each fax you send (I've also personally
confirmed the faxes were successfully received with each recipient.) They
offer premium pre-paid services as well. I signed up for a block 300-page
credit for $19.95 via Paypal and this never expires until you use them all
up. Their tech support is excellent as well, very helpful and replied
within a day of my email to them (they're based in Canada.)
