They have been in clearance on EMP Tek's website for a while now.
EMP Tek E5Ti Tower Speakers are on clearance. They are A-stock (meaning
there is no known problems with them), but still almost 50% off. I talked
to an employee and he said they are on sale because they have an abundance
of them. Only in Red Burl finish though. Shipping is free, and tax should
be free for most (was free for me in NYC.)
Please note, the outriggers are not included. That only matters if you want
them. They are $39.99/pair. Outriggers stabilize the speakers, and are
pretty much necessary if you are putting the speakers on a carpet. For hard
floors, it's a tossup whether you really need them, but I have them on my
E55Ti's. Then again, the E55Ti's are almost a foot taller than these.
From my experience, the staff is very nice and friendly. They allowed me to
purchase a single b-stock E5Ti to use as a center speaker for a nice price.
