Microcenter are selling Mac laptops at a discounted price (compared to apple
store).
I found that the biggest (and to me is the most relevant) discount is on the
silver Macbook pro (not air). it is the aluminum model with 4GB and SD slot.

apple store sell this at $1199 before tax. these guys sell it for $999
before tax.
Microcenter has that deal that when you buy something (even a $2 SD card),
you get 5% discount ona single item on your next purchase. the catch is that
you need to wait 3-4 days before that 5% coupon is active.
anyhow, 5% on $999 is $949 before tax.
for me, I paid $1045 on that laptop after CA tax...
I think this is not that bad deal as apple laptops are rarely sold for less.
however, the laptop is still in it's box for the next 2-3 weeks to see if a
better deal will pop up...
