也有一个英文名字, 可听来怎么都不男不女, 问了有关单位, 说是因为他太乖, 开始
以为他是个丫头, 后来发现是个小男生, 名字已经起了, 加上这个名字男女皆可, 就没有
再改. 男女皆可的意思就是不男不女, 我以为, 所以一直都不满意. 加上一心想要他
懂中文, 于是说, 叫小宝吧, 学名XX小宝. 他反正没有意见, 只要有好吃的肉罐头,
实际的很. 很快小宝已经熟悉了地形, 探访了各个我或知或不知道的角落, 将他们
按照安全等级记号, 就开始发挥撒娇的潜能. 一发不可收拾. 抱着他毛绒绒, 软软的
胖身子, 名字也就多起来, 宝宝, 贝贝, 蛋蛋, 娇气, 霸王, 等等等...
一日忽然从信箱里挖出一封信, 关于我校注册的事宜, 居然抬头写XX Dan. XX 是LD 的
姓, DAN 却不是LD 的名, 想来不知道是谁, 蛋蛋跑出来混吃的, 才一叫, 我们就大笑,
原来他着小子在家呆不住, 自己注册读书去了, 还选好了学名.

I have made up my mind on my first application followed by the first interview.
and it turns out that this is the only application i ever need to settle down
for the next several years, that is lucky for me, to save extra time for
gaming. I did celebrate that with two weeks of go over M&M 6, the first game
i played from 3DO. I like my future lab and i know it will turn out great
for me. I have faith in my capability, and now I get chance. So, if it turned

haha, and i also exclude flies and yeast for th baseline, and cross
CA of location as criteria. i sent out an application while preparing
thesis writing (for a try) and got response overnight. I paied a visit
and liked there right away.
I don't think to narrow down a specific area would be necessary at this
time, as you may work on many sorts of areas and found they are all
very interesting. Very personally, as I pla

someone rumored that you were planning to go industry.
i was very surprised back then. hehe.
i agree that labmates are less important than PI, eg. what can you get
after your several years' work, can you take your project away. etc.
are you funded by the PI or you are writing for a fellowship?
i'm scanning through hundreds of labs in UCSF, berkeley, stanford,
and UCSD, plus salk, caltech. i still feel more comfortable with
developmental biology, but my eyesight is ge
