quality of movies in the theater, especially those big budget movies, really
went down these years. For most part, the movies reflect little and little of
personal and individual persuit of director 's, and even hardly entertaining
because most of the plot are just overly superficial and arificial and lack of
content.
I can imagine Lord of Ring as a good movie, But It is just not and will never

Great comment, and I share the same view. An artwork, IMHO, is
first for appreciation, but too many people only care about
the entertainment part of films today. A film to me, doesn't
have to be great and grand, but it has to be intriguing,
sometimes in storytell, sometimes in other aspects like
acting or cinemography. This is where lies the art of film
directing.
I've not read LOTR novel, but I'd like to draw an analogy in
my reading experience. I was reading two books at about this

发帖数: 585 | 3 I ;ve been always wanting to read Mauhm 's novel. I read Moon and Six penses
in Chinese many years ago. But I didn't really lik Gaugum so i didn't pick it
up again. But it is in my list of reading.
