Where can I find instructions for how to use this Jobo kit? If I can find
the instructions and read it, and then compare it with what you are talking
about here, it would make more sense to me.
Thanks.

Because you are very likely press the cellphone with

Good to have two timer. I have been living with one without
much problem. Usually, there is only one step timing is critical,
which is developing. Wasting and fixing is not that big
a deal missing a few second or not. It takes only few seconds
to set the timer.
BTW, my timer can't display some digit now days because
I wet it too much. But it still beeps and I can count.

t****g 发帖数: 35582 | 23 This is Kodak official explanation of the wash between first developer and
reversal bath:
http://www.kodak.com/global/plugins/acrobat/en/service/Zmanuals/z119-1.pdf
The first wash stops the action of the first developer and removes first
developer solution from the film. Insufficient
water flow, incorrect temperature, or too little wash time will affect
density (speed) and color balance.
This is the standard process for rotary-tube processors:

In my first test, I run 3 4x5 films with around 150ml working solutions.

second test, I run 7 4x5 films with around 350ml working solution. This time
I don't have enough space in CPE2 to prepare around 1 gallon wash water. So
the water temperature is under loose control (too low I guess)。 I see
slightly color shift and under developing.

Remember that water is keep running in side the tank. Kodak did not

Make one change in the middle is good enough. It is just serve
as a stop bath. If you really care to use that many water.
you can make the first few run with cold water and the last
run with warm water.
The reason it need warm water is that it don't want the

S*A 发帖数: 7142 | 33 That is what I expect too.
There is two factor here:
- cool water make your color developer temp not accurate.
- I strongly suspect that 350ml is not enough to process

What tank do you use? The normal 2523 tank can only hold
270 ml. And I find the save volume to process E6 is about
4 4x5.

t****g 发帖数: 35582 | 34 according to my calculation, Kodak E-6 kit capacity is 42ml for 1 4x5.
I use a large paper tank and modified( add a few clips) to mount 9 4x5s
around the inner wall. So the film can be immersed into chemicals very
easily. In such way I don't need to consider the problm of reusing the
chemicals because every time I just make the working solutions enough for 1
batch.
