Only people pay >$1K a year is a realtor. Otherwise, they can pay $200 and
keep license for 4 years.
Also most loan agent doesn't need to be realtor.

保持LICENSE很容易，但要保持REALTOR就很贵了，所以REALTOR的人数才更说明问题。

other requirment), A is a salesperson. A must find a broker as his boss. He
can't do business by himself/herself.
If B pass the exam of CA real estate department for broker (and some other
requirement), B can be broker, B can do business by himself/herself and
liable for B's salesperson.
Salesperson or Broker, you only need to pay <200 for 4 years to keep license
No matter you are Salesperson or broker, you don't have the key to open
people's house and the forms of contract and the internal listing
information. You must join a local realtor board, and this is >$1000 a year.
So, only realtor is actively in real estate purchase and selling.
Even loan agent doesn't need to have be realtor. But if you want represent
some people buy/sell house, you must be a realtor.

持有license的人不等于实际在做房地产生意的。
做房地产生意的也不是100%持有有效license.
就像有驾照的不一定都开车，开车的不是都有驾照，还有无照驾驶的呢。
但是，这些因素抹杀不了持照人数的变化具有的指标意义。
