There was more disappointing news about the housing market this morning.
New-home sales fell 2.2% in February to a seasonally adjusted annual pace
of 308,000, the Commerce Department reported this morning, the lowest
level since the government first started tracking data in 1963.
February's decline was the fourth straight drop, and the level was worse
than the consensus estimate of 318,000. Sales for January were revised to
a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 315,000, up from a previously
reported 309,000. | L******d
