发帖数: 22 | 1 My first IUI just failed today. Aunt Flo came this morning, 12 day post IUI
. It is natural IUI, no clomid, had 2 good size follicles. Had two trigger
shots, day before IUI and day of. Been on Prometrim since 3dpiui.
Anyone here tried IUI before going on IVF? For us, the cost is the main
concern. Our insurance doesn't cover it. For one cycle of IVF, I could do
20 cycles of IUI.
My Dr. pretty much leaves it up to me, he says we are both healthy, just
keep trying. We are both 37. Married | q**a

So, I started to do IVF this June and just got pregnant.
I am 36 yrs.
My insurance covers 15k for lifetime only.

IVF procedure. I did 3 times IUI, each time had 3-4 good size follicles.
However, nothing happened.

发帖数: 22 | 5 Did you try IVF yet? That's what I'm debating, should I continue with IUI a
few more times, or go straight to IVF.
We don't have much savings, and big mortgage. Spending 20k on IVF is one
big financial burden by itself. Moreover, I'm afraid if we get twins, we
won't be able to provide for the babies. :-{

发帖数: 3999 | 6 I plan to start the IVF instead of continuing on IUI,My doctor suggest me to
do 2 more cycles of IUI. However, I am afraid it will use up all my eggs(
for medication stimulation). Same as here, My doctor can not find any
infertility reason of me and my hubby, i think age is the only issue.
i will not worry about the twins right now, it is such a big bless to have
twins. The only thing need to worry about is the possibility to success. The
sucess rate for IVF at our age group(35-37 )is around 30

no money there. I must convince myself that money should not be the concern
, baby will bring his/her own resources. :-)

发帖数: 22 | 10 IUI typically cost 1000 to 1500 each time. In my case, my insurance covers
up to 6 IUI cycles except medicine, so the cost is about 300 to 500 each
cycle. Also, IUI requires less hormonal medicine to manipulate the body.

发帖数: 31 | 11 有件事提醒你一下，你最好和医生确认你的体质以后再决定是ivf还是iui.因为照你描
述的，你产生的卵子并不是特别多。我在做ivf前被取消了一次iui,我医生希望6-8个卵
子，可是我对药极其敏感，无论他如何调节剂量，都控制不了长的势头，最后产生了十
几二十个，医生不敢做，转为ivf.ivf是卵子越多越好，而iui则希望卵子控制在一定范
围。而我正好就是一个很极端的例子。

发帖数: 237 | 12 我做IVF之前作了6次IUI, 做这么多是因为其中有两次有过chemical, 所以觉得IUI还是
可能有用的. 结果后来做了两次IVF连chemical都没有. 我现在觉得要做IVF一定要找最
好的医生和诊所, 而且越早做越好. 回过头来想我觉得IUI3此就够了,宁愿早点换诊所

卵试纸测，测到POSITIVE了就马上预约做IUI，不知道LZMM是不是这样？
到目前为止做了两次IUI，皆失败，打算这个月做第三次。如果仍然不成功，按照医生
的建议要考虑IVF了。
我们的情况：我33，LG36，HSG检查精子检查一切都好，我的月经周期也基本都是30天
（月经第一天有痛经），属于unexplained infertility。从来没有想到要宝宝会这么

three IUI cycles, and move on to IVF beginning of 2010 if IUI failed. I'll
begin Clomid tomorrow for 5 days for my second round of IUI.
I guess because we had a miscarraige last year, my Fertility Specialist is
optimistic about us getting pregnant natually, or IUI. My Dr. doesn't do
IVF, if needed, I'll probably do it at Fertility Pysicians of Northern
California. I've heard good things about this clinic.

5次 IUI 把我的FSH 都做高了。浪费了一年时间。 |
