这个是妹妹写的，才二年级！
看来我姐姐从一年级就给她找writing tutor，实在是太明智了！
Unconditional Love
He had the softest pelt with brown, white, and caramel fur. He had floppy
ears, pink front paws and dark brown hind paws. He had the most adorable
almond shaped eyes which still seem to stare into my own eyes, as if saying,
“You’re giving me a home? Giving me a chance? Giving me love?” As I
slumped in my chair, my mind suddenly swirled.
I felt really sad when my pet guinea pig, Buck, died. He was twitching
painfully, fighting for breath. I tried to make him feel better by stroking
him, clucking my tongue gently. I heard a tiny squeak. Oh, no. What’s
happening? Is he dying? No, please! I don’t want him to die! He doesn’t
deserve this! But deep inside, I knew he was trying to tell me something,
and I knew he was saying farewell to me. I felt my heart crack in pain as I
saw the rise and fall of his flank die away. I knew Buck was dead. And there
was nothing I could do about it.
I watched, on my knees, tears slowly beginning to well from my eyes. He’s
gone, was all I could think of, blinded by the tears that were running down
my cheeks. I reached into his cage, stroking him gently, in the faint hope
of rousing him. But nothing happened. Buck was still, still like a stone. I
couldn’t control my grief, and I began to cry.
After a long time, I sighed, wiping my tears away with my sleeve and
standing up. My sister was sitting on the ground, holding a shoebox in her
hands. “Put him in there.” Bessie whispered. I went back to pick up Buck’
s body, hugging him tight against my chest. His head hung low as I carried
him toward the box that Bessie held. I laid him gently into the box,
settling him down into the bedding that my mom had spread in there to make
sure Buck was comfortable on his journey to the Rainbow Bridge, Animal
Heaven. I began to put his favorite foods in there: a handful of his
favorite Garden Veggies and some pellets. I also put in a small pile of hay
and his favorite chew toy. Then, Bessie covered the box.
I sniffed, then picked up the shoebox with Bessie and walked out into the
garden. My dad was there, digging a hole in the dirt. “I’ll dig myself.”
I said. “Me too.” said Bessie. I grabbed a shovel, and began to dig, dirt
and dust flying everywhere. Bessie had put Buck’s Funeral Box under some
shade and hurried over to help.
“Good.” I whispered. “Come on.” Bessie and I picked up Buck’s box
gently, and set it into the hole. I reached for the lid, picked it up, and
stroked Buck’s fur for the last time. It wasn’t even warm now. I sighed
sadly, then closed the box again and stepped out of the hole so my dad could
bury him. He began to kick the dirt back in place, while I checked for any
curious bugs who might have wandered into Buck’s grave. Then, when I
spotted one, I felt rage explode in my body as well as grief. Engulfed by
madness, I grabbed my shovel, and began to squish the tiny bug. I wanted to
kill anything who dared go near my dear guinea pig. When my dad finally
finished burying Buck, he also patted a stone into the dirt in front of
where Buck was buried. It declared: In Memory of Our Dear Guinea Pig Buck.
Days later, our family got three new guinea pigs: Buckweed, Chestnut, and
Oreo. “They bring us so many bittersweet memories.” I said as I gazed at
Chestnut trying to play with Buckweed and Oreo. Chestnut squealed when Oreo
nudged him in the shoulder, while Buckweed purred, sitting in the middle of
the cage and watching the two playing guinea pigs. Seeing the new guinea
pigs enjoy their home reminded me of the day when Buck arrived, his eyes
eagerly exploring every inch of his cage, and the day of his death, the same
eyes looking pleadingly into mine, screaming “I love you! Don’t let me go
!”
Guinea pigs have been important to many peoples’ lives. They provide
people company, and people don’t even appreciate it. Well, everybody who
thinks that guinea pigs are just plain old rodents that are so fat they can
’t even run a millimeter are fools! But here is what I think. People are so
greedy for money and toys that they never think of unconditional love, love
that Buck, Buckweed, Chestnut, and Oreo gave us, love that doesn’t even
cost a dollar or penny.
My guinea pigs together gave me more love and happiness than any amount of
money, gold, or riches could. If I could live my life over to see Buck alive
and squeaking again, then I would. | i**e

前几天，还和一个朋友唐起孩子writing的问题。她家的哥哥和我们家老大同年，朋友
谈到她儿子班上有个女生，写作非常优秀，据女孩子的家长说：她对于每月老师布置写
作project，觉得是个最期盼，最享受的过程。我们讨论孩子的阅读量和写作有没有很
决定性的联系，我家哥哥看很多书，但写作表达就很欠缺，或者说很肤浅，让他复述看
的故事内容，就抓了一些枝节破碎的东西来说说，听完了，其实不知道他讲的是大概什
么内容。创造性的写作兴趣不高，一般老师要求什么内容，就三言两语打发了。但他的
逻辑性不错，数学的理解和接受力，我们暂时都很满意。朋友的儿子，写作方面也有类
似的问题，他对阅读兴趣一般，但写作当中，如果不抵触的题目，也能偶尔写得不错。
他妈妈还是国内北京外语学院的，英文真是顶呱呱。
唯一的理解，女孩子天性中，有感情丰富和细腻一面，观察事物和表达情感方面，比男
孩子突出些。或者待以时日，男孩子可以追上来。当然，这些都是一家之见了。
现在从楼上贴子看来，请writing tutor也许是一个好的方法。 | | | k******d

一定的empathy，需要一定的心态，而这些真的是会变的。我怀疑江郎才尽的事情有很

发帖数: 3855 | 27 这个我是要re的。其实对于老大，我只是希望他在阅读中能多理解别人是怎样讲故事的，故事的前因后果是什么，他们表达怎么样的观念，你是否认同或者有不同看法。这也是他们老师开学时家长会上提到的要求。如果他能掌握这些，运用到自己的写作中，不需要词汇怎样华丽丰富，有一个好的架构和清楚的表达，就非常不错了。
显然，哥哥自己想像力不够，所以在写作中，要带进自己内在东西的时候，就暴露出来了。
弟弟，显然在数学方面进度不如哥哥小时候，现在20内的加法还要借助小棍子；但他很喜欢写东西，每天就写啊画啊，有时候是自己编的故事加图画；有时候是各种各样的字条，给爸爸妈妈，哥哥，内容繁多，还夹着想像中的人物，电视里的主角，拼写即使很多错的，创作热情还贼高。还不让你扔他的纸，一堆堆的。
对于楼主的外甥女，我觉得孩子自己就在写作方面很有天赋，加上环境和家长促进，写的东西真的很棒。

可是，还是不会编故事
看歪偶家的小茜画写的故事就知道了
故事有人物（名字也很清楚 :))
有问题，有解决的办法，有过程
有完结
就是很有架子，很象那么回事，有整体感，有故事感
就是有感觉呀...

读了前两段，发现文笔，架构完全不输很多出版的chapter book
应该是个很有文采很有语言天赋的孩子
恐怕不是一般的writing tutor可以办到的

因为她们不上afterschool，所以是有一个小学的老师每周一个半小时加强一下英文阅
读写作，
我姐说了，因为姐姐大四岁，姐姐特别爱写，妹妹就跟着写，
已经写满好几个本本了。
妹妹的老师也说了，妹妹比姐姐当年成绩还要好，
而且人家主动跟老师说了：我要和姐姐一样，去集中营里的那个集中营班
他们家里有living nanny，所以两个孩子每天回家自己弹钢琴，做功课，写东西，还有
时间玩儿，
我现在严重觉得afterschool 的efficiency太低了，
可是实在是很fun的样子，小孩子一下午呆在那里蛮social的

写的东西超级缺乏逻辑性，
她可以写一篇很长的东西，结果要不就是一个故事的小片断，要不就是逻辑混乱看不明白
你看看小茜写的故事就知道了，结构多么完整，多有条理！
